Why RCS was created:
In March 2010 I posted in our club forum about helping build an overflow and drilling a tank for a club member cheaper than a LFS in the area (who just happens to be an RC Sponsor). Within 24 hours of that posting, I was accused of running a commercial enterprise and was given an infraction on the penalty system of RC. Normally, I would just sit there and scratch my head but not say or do anything; however, this was the last straw. I was not running a business; I was helping a fellow club member save a ton of money. I started questioning/interrogating the Mod/Mods on why the hell I was given an infraction. This line of PM’s back and forth continued for over a month with no satisfactory explanation as to why my offer was called a commercial business and was told it did not matter it was just an infraction point, no big deal. Well in principal it was a big deal as it showed that the power hungry, access dictating, magic banning wand wielding moderators could do what ever they wanted without justification. So I told them they were a bunch of Gestapo forum dictators and was promptly banned for 6 months.
Now I could just wait my six month and go back to RC, but for what, to be controlled and banned again the next time I post something the Mods do not like or because I try to sell a maxijet and accused of running a commercial enterprise? No, Way!!!
UPADATE: Well when my 6 month ban was up, I went back to Reef Central just to see what was going on however I was quickly greeted with the following message
Guess they cant take it when someone holds on to their principles and does not cave in to the dictatorship.
